Once again the Four County Suicide Prevention Coalition, in partnership with the Four County ADAMhs Board and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, will sponsor the 4th Annual International Survivor of Suicide Day for 2020. This free event was developed in order to give survivors of suicide loss the opportunity to connect with other survivors, in an environment that promotes sharing, community and healing. Past events have traditionally been held in-person at St. John’s Lutheran Church. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually! The day will include the sharing of stories of loss and hope by three local speakers, private breakout sessions to connect with other survivors and opportunities for attendees to receive information regarding local mental health resources. Past events have been well received by those in attendance.
While the event is free of charge, registration is required. Attendance is limited so register online today by logging onto:
The event is open to anyone whose life has been impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide, as well as friends and family members who support them.
