Four County Suicide Prevention Coalition

The mission of the Four County Suicide Prevention Coalition is to increase awareness,
decrease stigma, and increase people’s ability to seek help aimed at suicide prevention.

You Are Not Alone!

Depression is a medical condition that can effect a person’s mood, feelings, thought processes, and ability to interact with others.
Between 1,500 Ohioans die by suicide each year. Working together, we can help reduce those numbers. Treatment works and recovery from depression is possible. You matter.

Suicide Grief Support Group

Suicide Grief Support Group meets the 1st Thursday of each month in the evening and the 3rd Friday of each month in the morning to help make support accessible to everyone.

Our purpose is to:

  • Acknowledge survivors’ pain in a safe environment.
  • Offer encouragement from others who have lost a loved one.
  • Teach healthy coping skills.

LOSS Team

The Four County LOSS Team responds to the home where new survivors are gathered. After a completed suicide, a team of 2-3 compassionate and trained volunteers are coordinated to respond to the home.

The goal of the LOSS team is to help new survivors feel supported from the very beginning of their tragic loss.
